How to reach us
By car: Cannobio can be reached from the A26motorway, as well as from the SS33(Sempione state road) and from the SS34. If you are coming from the south the advice is to take the motorway and follow the signs for Gravellona Toce, the exit is “Baveno-Stresa“, then follow the signs for Verbania (the first town you come across is Feriolo) continue along the lake until you reach Cannobio. If you are coming from the North(Sempione pass, Domodossola Strada Statale 33) follow the signs for Milan, the recommended exit is “Verbania” continue along the lake street (SS34) until you reach Cannobio. From Bellinzona-Locarno along theSS34 (State Road of Lake Maggiore) you reach directly Cannobio, is the first town after the customs. You will find us in Piazza Vittorio Emanule III, 6. Follow the direction for Piazza 27/28 Maggio and go straight for another 100m. Don’t worry about the no passing signal, our guests are allowed to pass.
By train: The Verbania station is located on the Simplon line that connects Milan to Geneva, Basel and Zurich. Fast trains coming from many German, French, Belgian and Dutch cities reach Milan via the Sempione line and usually stop at Verbania-Pallanza or Stresa stations. From the Milan Central and Milan Porta Garibaldi stations there are several trains that stop daily in Verbania or Stresa. Then take a taxi or you can reserve trought the Hotel. If you arrive at the railway station of Verbania-Pallanza, the VCO TRASPORTI buses (Omegna-Verbania line towards Verbania) run every 30 minutes but the last stop is Verbania, from here you can take another bus or take a Taxi.
By plane: Cannobio is served by the Milan Malpensa International Airport (MPX). From Milan Malpensa airport there is no direct train to Verbania: it is necessary to reach by train (or bus) Milan (40 minutes) or Gallarate (15 minutes). From there you can then search for a train to Verbania or Stresa, or request our transportation service previously.
